Gary E. Och is an effective and resourceful attorney and counselor at
law who handles employment and other litigation matters for individuals
and businesses in state and federal court, at both the trial court and
appellate levels. He primarily litigates cases involving allegations
of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage
and hour issues, and other employment-related claims.
Mr. Och
also advises clients on a full range of issues arising in the
workplace, including discipline, terminations, reductions in force,
layoffs, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, investigations of
employee misconduct, breach of contracts, separation agreements, and
wage and hour compliance. He is a member of the Employment Law
sections of both the Los Angeles County Bar and California State Bar
Association.
His practice areas also include product liability litigation, commercial litigation, real estate law, and immigration law.

Mr.
Och previously served as a research attorney to the Hon. Thomas W.
Stoever, Judge of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, and performed
a summer clerkship with the Hon. J. Michael Byrne, Judge of the Los
Angeles County Superior Court. Mr. Och also completed a judicial
externship with the Hon. Earl Johnson, Jr., Associate Justice of the
California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District.
Mr. Och is a 1997 graduate of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he
was Articles Editor for Loyola of Los Angeles International and
Comparative Law Journal and served as President of the Loyola Law
School Student Bar Association. Mr. Och received his undergraduate
degree from UC Berkeley in 1994.
